2026 Zhongguancun Forum • Special Session on Sino-Swiss Cleantech Industry Cooperation and Matchmaking

For Swiss cleantech innovations with proven technologies seeking commercial application scenarios and business partnerships, China is no longer a “future market” — it has become a ready market where real demand is rapidly unfolding.

Co-organized by the Greater Geneva Bern Area (GGBa) and Insight Tech, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum • Special Session on Sino-Swiss Cleantech Industry Cooperation and Matchmaking is a focused business matchmaking event. Embedded within the Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum), this Special Session directly connects Swiss innovations with Chinese public institutions and key players in the cleantech sector to enable practical implementation and commercially viable cooperation.

The ZGC Forum is a national-level platform of China for international engagement among policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators in sci-tech. As one of the official key country-focused events of the Forum, this Special Session offers full-channel media exposure, high-end guest network and precise industrial matchmaking support, providing a “fast track” for Swiss cleantech companies to access the Chinese market and attract international investment and cooperation.

National-Level Platform Showcase and Network
Leveraging China’s national-level event platform, Swiss innovations will showcase their solutions to Chinese public institutions and leading enterprises, establishing direct connections with potential users.

1V1 Matchmaking Service Based on Real Needs
The Special Session will precisely pre-match Swiss innovations’ solutions with specific needs of leading Chinese partners, organizing targeted one-on-one closed-door meetings to boost efficient and effective cooperation.

Rapid Market Assessment through On-Site Visits
Additional curated on-site visits in Beijing and Tianjin will enable direct dialogue with benchmark local enterprises, and help Swiss innovations gain first-hand insights into China’s cleantech market within a short timeframe.

Comprehensive Journey Support
Participants will receive comprehensive local support, including accommodation and transportation throughout their stay in China, as well as an international flight subsidy of CHF 500 per company, effectively reducing the travel cost.

2. On-site Visits
Based on the specific solutions of participating Swiss enterprises, the Special Session will also tailor exclusive on-site business visits to cleantech industry in Beijing and Tianjin, facilitating in-depth grasp as well as exploration of local ecosystem and cooperation opportunities.

This event is open to Swiss innovations in the fields of Green Energy, Energy Storage, and Energy Efficiency, prioritizing their technological maturity, application potential, and suitability to the Chinese market.
